The Republican Perinatal Center was organized in pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 46 of 15.02.2000 “On the state program Soglom Avlod Uchun”.
The center was opened on 01.06.2002, began receiving patients from 27.09.2002.

The RPC is a level III institution for the provision of perinatal care. The structure of the RPC includes: maternity wards, a department of pathology of pregnant women, departments of nursing premature babies and pathology of newborns, a department of neonatal surgery, a department of neonatal resuscitation, a consultative and diagnostic clinic, a department of gynecology, a department of intensive care and intensive care for women, a clinical laboratory.
On the basis of the RPC, there are Republican educational, medical and methodological centers for neonatal surgery and endovisual gynecology. The RPC provides practical and methodological assistance to regional institutions of the I, II and III levels and the city of Tashkent in accordance with the regionalization of perinatal care, according to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 185
Since 2008, a resuscitation and advisory team has been functioning.

The RPC provides specialized high-tech medical care for women with preterm birth, with prenatal rupture of amniotic fluid, severe extragenital diseases, congenital malformations in the fetus, perinatal loss in history, fetal growth retardation syndrome, complications of pregnancy (severe placenta, resuscitation, ... detachment) immunization, genital malformations, malformations of pregnancy, multiple pregnancies, etc.
